Set up your Google tag integration with WooCommerce

You can measure behavioral data about your site with Google Analytics and Google Ads. If you have a tag ID starting with “G-”, follow the steps below to set up your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts on WooCommerce.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your WordPress admin console.
2. From the page menu on the left, click Plugins.
3. On the “Plugins” page, click Add New.
4. On the “Plugins” page under “Search Results”, enter “WooCommerce Google Analytics” and click Install Now.
5. Once the plugin is downloaded and installed, open the “Plugins” dropdown and click Installed Plugins.
6. Under “WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration”, click Activate.
7. After the plugin is activated, the “Plugins” page will reload. Click Settings under the “WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration” Plugin.
8. Click Integration, then click Google Analytics. Enter your Google tag ID into the box provided and confirm that “Use Global Site Tag” is checked. Click Save Changes.
